Formula Shocks are the designed and engineered for both offroad and on road conditions. We incorporate two ranges of shock absorbers to make sure that Formula Shocks can improve the ride of both Performance vehicles and 4WDs, through a comfortable ride. Our aim for Formula Shocks, was to create the most comfortable ride for every driver at an affordable price.
By partnering with SuperPro Suspension, we were able to combine their aftermarket bushes with our shocks to further increase the performance, durability and comfort. Giving longer durability and increased flex to your suspension, ensuring that no matter the terrain, Formula has got you covered.

All Formula Suspension Parts are covered by a 3 Year 60000km Warranty. This means that if a Formula Product fails, it will be replaced free of charge.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits given by the warranties set out below are in addition to other rights and remedies under Australian law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranties relate.
This warranty is limited to the replacement of the originally supplied Formula component. This warranty does not include off-road and motorsport applications. This Warranty does not cover the labour costs of removal/replacement nor any consequential damage, where this limitation is permitted by local law.
Formula Suspension was founded by the Owner of Fulcrum Suspensions (Graham Scudamore-Smith) during the 80's. Fulcrum Suspensions has long had a passion for suspension, being in the industry for over 40 years Fulcrum had dealt with thousands of cars and suspensions systems. Installing new aftermarket shocks for both performance and off road vehicles. Though during this time we felt that the world was missing out on a shock that was engineered in Australia, made for comfort and affordable for everyone.
Carrying this idea of a sophisticated, affordable yet comfortable shock. Formula Suspensions set out to design and perfect the best range of shock absorbers for every level of car enthusiast. Starting with the Offroad vehicles, Formula designed and tested every shock in the Australian bush to make sure that no matter what was thrown at the 4WD, our Formula shock absorbers could handle it. For performance cars after our engineers had conducted their tests we made sure to test our shocks on the race track and on normal everyday roads, ensuring that our shocks would perform. When supplying a new suspension system for a shock, we make sure to take our shock through rigorous testing to ensure they are held to the highest standard for the Offroad/4WD and Performance aftermarket community.
Formula Suspensions mission is to create the most comfortable, durable and affordable shock absorber on the suspension market. Formula does this by ensuring all our shocks and suspension products are properly tested. Making sure they pass all our high standards, passed on to us from our founding roots at Fulcrum Suspensions and ties to SuperPro Suspension.
We want to see the automotive aftermarket community grow and we envision this through offering affordable aftermarket shock absorbers and other suspension products.
Our shocks were developed by our R&D team in Brisbane. Using the extensive knowledge gained from buying and selling shock absorbers the Formula R&D team were able to develop a set of design specifications for the Formula range to produce an affordable and comfortable shock absorber for both performance and off-road use.
Testing was an important part of the development. Extensive testing was carried out on prototypes so that what was seen in the lab was comparable to the results seen on the car. The excellent feedback from the real life testing validates the specification process providing the driver and occupants with a comfortable ride.
Founded in 1976 by Graham Scudamore-Smith, Fulcrum has grown from its humble beginnings as a wheel alignment workshop in the Brisbane suburb of Moorooka to a global organisation that offers a diverse range of suspension solutions for almost any vehicle.
Today Fulcrum employs over 100 people across 8 locations including an in-house R&D department, distribution warehouse, and SuperPro production facility. Fulcrum's presence now extends over 8 Service Centres throughout Queensland and a distribution centre in Preston, Melbourne. Fulcrum has partnered with multiple aftermarket companies in order to provide the best products and services to our customers.
